Bird of Paradise Plant (Strelitzia nicolai)

Strelitzia nicolai commonly known as Bird of Paradise Plant grown primarily for its dramatic foliage brings a sensational tropical accent to the garden. It is a herbaceous, cluster-forming, flowering plant that grows well under the right conditions. The whole flower resembles the head of the bird, with a white crest and purple beak and hence the name.
